Caroline Wampole was the co-founder, bass player and singer for Big Soul, a rock-funk band that had a platinum record in France. Her essays have been published in The Carolina Quarterly, The Forge Literary Magazine, and Atticus Review. She is currently writing a memoir about how playing in a rock band led her to her true home of art - How to be a Rock Star in Paris.
