Save a Life with Hands-Only CPR

CPR Class

Wednesday, February 7, 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm
It’s easy to learn. You can increase the chance of someone surviving a cardiac emergency by taking a FREE American Red Cross 30-minute class. Montague Center Library.

The Red Cross Hands-Only CPR course teaches people how to perform hands-only CPR. Having more trained bystanders can help save lives by putting more cardiac arrest victims within a few steps of lifesaving assistance.

The primary way of teaching this CPR (or cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) technique is a 30-minute skill session. Participants learn how to check for consciousness, call 911 (or the local emergency number), and give chest compressions. CPR training certification is not provided through this course.

Registration is encouraged, but not required. To register, please call (413) 367-2852 or email kmartineau@cwmars.org
