Rot to Riches

Rot to Riches is a hands-on, interactive 50-minute session about the wonders of compost, and the creatures that help turn old scraps into new plants. Carnegie Library. Designed for children and teens.

Led by a Hitchcock educator, kids and their grown-ups will read an empowering story, learn the basic science of decomposition, play a "what's compostable?" game and meet live insects and annelids from their collection.
