You are invited to the Millers Falls Library from 5:30-7pm on Tuesday, April 8 for dinner followed by a ZOOM conversation with Ponnapa Prakkamakul.
Ponnapa was awarded the winner of the Millers Falls Wheat Paste Mural project. Her designs will be installed on two buildings in Millers Falls: 41 Franklin Street and 26 East Main Street. The paper murals will last from 3-5 months. SEE THE DRAFT DESIGNS!
Specifically she will want to discuss the following questions:
1) What is your favorite memory growing up in Millers Falls?
2) Tell me about your favorite walking/hiking path in the woods, stories about wildlife in the area, and favorite season.
3) Are you familiar with any antique tools that were made in Millers Falls in the past? If so, please share what are they used for, what they look like, or any stories.
This information will be used in her final design. Your participation will make a BIG impact. I think the TOOL question will be especially important.
Please RSVP if you plan to have dinner: riverculture@montague-ma.gov
