Authors Everywhere
This is a Youtube Channel created and run by children's book writers and illustrators. With all this talk of potential quarantines and school closures, we wanted to do something to offer relief for parents and kids who might find themselves stuck at home. On this channel, you'll find workshops, readings, activities, art projects, writing games, writing advice, and more:
Jarrett J. Krosoczka—author & illustrator
Award-winning illustrator will be hosting free drawing webcasts every weekday at 2pm EST for at least the next few weeks.
Winter Reading Teen Virtual Art Exhibit
Our lives have changed in so many ways because of COVID-19. School is online and most special events have all been canceled or postponed indefinitely. We are all coping with COVID-19 in different ways. We are accepting submissions of teen artwork throughout the entire Winter Reading Program (Jan. 11 - Feb. 20). EMAIL your artwork to Angela at arovatti-leonard@cwmars.org OR put it in the Book Return at any of the Montague Public Libraries. Creating art and expressing our feelings through art can help us cope.
