Brand New Laptops at All Three Libraries

You asked, we listened!
Having heard that the public computers at the Montague Libraries no longer suit the needs of our patrons, the library director and Trustees of the Montague Public Libraries purchased four brand new patron laptops.
These laptops can be used in any public library space within the building. This means that if you need to work at a table and spread your papers next to the laptop, you can do that. It means that if you want to write a quick email from the children’s room, while your kiddo looks at picture books, you can do that. It means that you can fill out a confidential form without having other patrons walking right behind you.
Two laptops will be located at the Carnegie Library and one will be located at each of the branches. Patrons over 16 can check out a laptop at the circulation desk using their library card or photo ID.
