March Newsletter
Each month, we'll provide library updates, program information, and highlight new materials and services.

Happy March, Montague!
The days are getting longer, and the weather is a little less chilly, which can only mean that spring is on its way! Already dreaming of your summer garden? Stop by the Carnegie Library and grab some seeds from our seed library. We have a varied mix of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds for you to choose from.
If you haven’t been by the Carnegie Library in a while, I recommend stopping in to see how the reading room has been rearranged and to see our newly re-opened Local History Room! Library patrons are welcome to use the Local History Room for quiet study, local history research, or just to check out the collection of historic items made or sold in Montague, currently featured in our display case. Once the libraries’ new website is up and running, patrons will also be able to reserve the Local History rooms for meetings, small programs, and more.
This month’s program calendar is full of opportunities to create and view art. From making haiku tiny books, to portraits of rabbits, from an exhibit of local quilts to an exhibit of paintings. There’s art for everyone. Artists and poets are also encouraged to share their work to be shown in a late spring display at the Montague Center Library.
Happy reading!
Caitlin
