Old Turners Falls Newspapers Now On-Line

You can now browse through old Turners Falls newwspapers on your own computer or at the library

The Montague Public Libraries have established an on-line archive  for the old Turners Falls newspapers. The old Turners Falls Reporter and Turners Falls Herald newspapers from 1872- 1942 were recently digitalized and are available on-line at montague.advantage-preservation.com.  This site works best if used with Internet Explorer for a browser.  Previously they were available on cumbersome microfilm at the Carnegie Library.  The digitalization process was funded by State Aid to Libraries.
