ART WORKSHOP FOR 11-14 YEAR OLDS
THREE-WEEK workshop will be offered in January at the Carnegie Public Library, 201 Avenue A, Turners Falls.
JANUARY 11, 18, 25 at 4:00-5:30p.m.
Meadowedge Art in Bernardston is offering workshops to area 11-14 year olds, at which students create a 12-14" model of a character from a favorite book. These are constructed over a wore armature, using foil and plaster wrap for the body, modeling clay for the face and hands, fabrics and found materials for clothes and accessories. These sculptures will be shown in area libraries to encourage creative responses to reading. All projects can go home after they are displayed.
