Seed Library

The Carnegie Seed Library features a variety of %100 organic, non-GMO seeds for vegetables, greens, herbs, and flowers. With multiple varieties of tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, peas, pumpkins, and watermelons, there’s something for everyone!

Library patrons can access the Seed Library seasonally (typically March and August) during the Carnegie Library’s open hours. Patrons are encouraged to use the coin envelopes provided to take the seeds that they need, rather than the whole seed packet.

The Carnegie Seed Library is made possible through a grant from Vermont-based seed company, High Mowing Organic Seeds.
