Looking for a Halloween costume without buying something brand new? The Montague Public Libraries will host its annual Halloween Costume Swap for children and teens at the Brick House Annex, 22 3rd St., Turners Falls. Community members can bring costumes to the swap and choose a new-to-them costume to take home. The event will also include light refreshments and a creepy craft activity.
Costume donations are being accepted now through the day of the swap. Designated collection bins are available at the Carnegie Public Library, 201 Avenue A, and The Brick House, 24 3rd St. Donated costumes should be clean and gently used.
The costume swap is a chance for local families to share resources and get into the Halloween spirit with friends and neighbors.
